- Greet guests with a friendly and hospitable demeanor upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of our establishment.
- Manage guest reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlist efficiently to maximize dining room capacity and minimize guest wait times.
- Communicate effectively with guests, providing information about menu offerings, special promotions, and hotel amenities.
- Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating, service, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and courteously, demonstrating a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, lobby area, and waiting areas, adhering to hotel standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Assist in training and mentoring new host team members, providing guidance on guest interaction, reservation management, and service standards.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as concierge and front desk, to enhance the guest experience and address guest needs effectively.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, reflecting the high standards of hospitality and service expected in a 5-star hotel.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including safety protocols, cash handling procedures, and guest privacy guidelines.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Host in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality setting.
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries efficiently.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the needs of the business.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus
