- Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Monitor seasonality effects on sales and develop strategies to capitalize on seasonal trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and develop data-driven solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced Excel techniques, including pivot tables, data visualization, and statistical analysis, to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
- Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards using Excel and other tools.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of Power BI tools for data visualization and analysis.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required to support business needs.
- Clean and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Build predictive models using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to forecast future trends and optimize business processes.
- Design and analyse A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, product features, or website designs.
- Segment customers based on demographic, behavioural, or transactional data to personalize marketing efforts and maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the performance of various business initiatives, departments, or products.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies.
- Create visually engaging charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards to communicate insights effectively and tell compelling stories with data.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations by adhering to data privacy standards, maintaining data integrity, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and PivotTables.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
