Our client, an award-winning Company providing solutions, expertise and support in specialized fields of science and technology, is looking to recruit a Laboratory Service Technician to join their operations in Malta. The chosen candidate will be responsible for:

Servicing a range of laboratory equipment including calibration, validation, and preventive maintenance
Installation, Training & Commissioning of Lab Analytical Equipment
Updating of service reports
Assisting in sales, i.e. generating offers for clients, issuing purchase orders to suppliers, and in technical sales meetings
Researching relevant new technologies and services to increase company portfolio
Occasional travel abroad is necessary at times for training
Assisting and reporting to his superiors on a daily basis

Skill-sets and Requirements

Candidates must be living and working in Malta already
Candidates must be able to travel abroad occassionally for training purposes
Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a tight-knit team
Candidates must be pro-active, mature, and able to work under pressure
Fluency in English is a must; Maltese highly preferred

Education & Experience

MCAST / Fellenberg HTD Diploma in industrial electronics or equivalent
Experience on the installation & maintenance of laboratory analytical equipment is highly preferred
Experience working within the Pharmaceutical industry is highly desired
Experience working as a Maintenance technician with Lab equipment would be a huge plus
