- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities
- Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and reports
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing financial data
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring timely compliance with tax regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during the annual audit process
- Provide financial support and insights to management for decision-making
- Work closely with other departments to streamline and improve financial processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in an accounting role, ideally within the transport or logistics industry
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Strong skills in reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
