The primary purpose of a Plumber is to ensure the safe and efficient installation, repair, and maintenance of water, gas, and drainage systems.Duties & Key Responsibilities: - Preparation and installation of small pipe sizes - Preparation and installation of large pipe sizes - Installation of different types of metal pipes - Installation of grooved couplings - Preparation and installation of PVC, CPVC and PP pipes, which could involve either glue-application or push-fit insertion - Preparation and installation of pipes for electro-fusion welding - Preparation and installation of PPR or PE pipes using a heater for butt-welding - Chasing of trenches if required for a buried installation - Installation of WCs - Installation of Shower Trays - Installation of bidet - Installation of Wash-Hand Basins - Mounting and installation of small to medium sizes pumps, fan coil units, etc. - Mounting and installation of large equipment including chillers, air-handling units, buffer tanks, calorifiers etc.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHISCED Level: Upper secondary education - Level (3)Subjects:Subject Level Grade
PLUMBINGCompetencies

Check leakproofness of the sections, pipes and installation and perform necessary adjustments
Perform excavations (trenches, pit excavations,...) and smooth surface by digging a bed.
Measure and lay pipes, connecting mains (coolants, water, air...)
Sling, hoist and position pipes and fittings
Install drains on an incline and check their watertightness
