An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Finance Administrator to join our Malta based client, supporting a broad range of internal accounting and billing functions. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the role also works closely with designated practice departments, providing financial and administrative support as required. This position offers valuable exposure to core finance processes and the chance to develop basic accounting skills while gaining hands-on experience across various areas of finance. We look forward to receiving your application and helping you find your ideal role.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide administrative support to the internal Finance & Billing DepartmentAccurately and efficiently perform accounting tasksGeneral accounts receivable and payable functionsPost invoices and payments in a timely mannerFollow up with aged debtors to ensure timely collectionsHandle billing-related responsibilities for colleagues and clientsCollaborate closely with assigned practice departments with financial and administrative supportAssist with reporting and other support functionsFiling and general administrative tasksLiaise regularly with departments, clients & suppliersAny other duty that may be assigned by the Firm from time to timeCANDIDATE PROFILEAt least 2 years working within a bookkeeping or Accounting roleFamiliarity with Accounts payables/receivables and basic accountsIdeally with an A'Level or Diploma in AccountsRole would best suit someone who is highly responsible and reliableHigh proficiency in English, with strong communication skillsKnowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, and familiarity with Xero would be considered a plusA positive demeanor with a proactive approach and eagerness to develop furtherStrong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlinesCOMPANY BENEFITSHealth insurancePension PlanHybrid workingContinuous trainingAttractive remuneration packageDue to the high volume of applications received at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.To apply for this position, please email your CV to Michelle Cooper, quoting the above job reference or call +356 27780664 for further information.
