We are looking for a Cleaner/ Housekeeping Room Attendant who will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organised environment, ensuring a positive experience for residents and guests, for our clients' establishments.Responsibilities: Cleaning and Sanitising: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in designated areas. Room Preparation: Prepare rooms for guests or residents, including changing linens, replenishing amenities, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Waste Management: Proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with established guidelines and environmental policies. Surface Disinfection: Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment. Stocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essentials as needed. Reporting Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution. Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize accidents and ensure a secure work environment. Customer Service: Interact courteously with residents, guests, or employees, addressing any specific cleaning preferences or special requests. Flexibility: Be adaptable to varying work schedules and able to respond to urgent cleaning needs or emergencies. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and communicate effectively to ensure a coordinated and efficient workflow. Requirements: Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of all designated areas. Initiative: Proactive approach to identifying and addressing cleaning needs without constant supervision. Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication skills to interact with team members and respond to specific requests from residents or guests. Adherence to Health and Safety Guidelines: Understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices. Integrity: Trustworthiness and respect for confidentiality in handling residents’ or guests’ personal belongings. Previous Experience: While not always required, prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is often preferred.
