Shop Assistants-Temporary

• Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, helpful shopping experience.
• Assist customers in finding products, offering knowledgeable advice and recommendations.
• Operate the cash register, handle cash, card, and other electronic payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised sales floor and stock room.
• Receive, unpack, and display new stock deliveries.

• Monitor and replenish shelf inventory as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone.
• Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve daily targets.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

• Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
• A good command of spoken Maltese is essential for communicating effectively with our local clientele.
• Availability to work full-time hours, including weekends, for the entire 2-week contract period.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a strong customer-focused approach.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle light lifting (e.g., stock boxes).

• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash.
• Familiarity with using a POS (Point of Sale) system.

• A fixed 2-week contract with clearly defined hours.
• Valuable experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
