- Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, helpful shopping experience.
- Assist customers in finding products, offering knowledgeable advice and recommendations.
- Operate the cash register, handle cash, card, and other electronic payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised sales floor and stock room.
- Receive, unpack, and display new stock deliveries.
- Monitor and replenish shelf inventory as needed.
- Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone.
- Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve daily targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
- A good command of spoken Maltese is essential for communicating effectively with our local clientele.
- Availability to work full-time hours, including weekends, for the entire 2-week contract period.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a strong customer-focused approach.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- The ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle light lifting (e.g., stock boxes).
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash.
- Familiarity with using a POS (Point of Sale) system.
- A fixed 2-week contract with clearly defined hours.
- Valuable experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
