Responsible for cutting, bending, and installing rebar to reinforce concrete structures. Ensures proper alignment, placement, and safety per project specs. Requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and ability to work with heavy materialsKey Responsibilities: - Reading and interpreting construction drawings and to determine the placement of reinforcement steel. - Measuring, cutting, bending, and shaping steel bars and mesh using hand tools and power tools. - Positioning and securing reinforcement steel using wire ties, clips, spacers, or welding techniques. - Ensuring proper alignment and spacing of rebar according to engineering requirements. - Working closely with formwork carpenters and concrete workers to coordinate reinforcement installation. - Using lifting equipment and tools safely to handle heavy materials. - Complying with safety regulations and ensuring a safe working environment. - Inspecting and adjusting reinforcement before concrete pouring to meet structural and quality standards. - This role requires physical strength, precision, and knowledge of reinforcement techniques to ensure the durability and safety of concrete structures. Place steel reinforcing bars (rebars), armouring, inserts, recesses, in mould or prestressed concrete mould
Adjust to size and assemble wooden formworks, formwork parts (reinforcements, curved formworks, fittings..)
Assemble and place concrete reinforcement
Cut and prepare reinforcing bars
Determine composition/mould measurements/reinforcement type/ pouring/dismantling method according to item for manufacture
Place reinforcements in concrete depending on the application (concrete slabs, walls, poles, floors...)
Determine assembly process and necessary materials based on instructions, technical files...
Register production and quality monitoring data (malfunctions, interventions...)
