Our client, a leading insurance provider, is looking to join their team in Malta.Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing quality interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools
Assisting users in the definition of their business requirements
Working closely with database administrator to ensure that the appropriate data is available
Performing checks and testing on the data to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data
Assisting/training users in the use of data query analysis and reporting tools
Preparing and assessing analytical reports
Support in preparing Solvency II and IFRS 17 valuations including data preparation, result production and movement analysis
Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in the data
Undertaking analytical duties related to compliance by the insurance licence holders

Requirements:

Degree level of Education – Qualifications in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Actuarial and Data Analysis
Preferably 2 years’ previous work experience in a similar position – Experience in an Insurance environment would be considered an asset
Attention to detail and critical thinker
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collaborate effectively within a team while also demonstrating strong independence.
Advanced Excel knowledge
Knowledge of business analytics solutions / SQL / ETL tools
