Data Platform Engineer (m/f/x)

• Collaborate with development teams in Data Warehousing, Data Science, Business Intelligence, and CRM to ensure smooth project delivery, helping the team achieve its objectives with precision.
• Take charge of managing, scaling, and maintaining AWS services. Be the strategist who identifies opportunities for better observability, governance, scalability, cost efficiency, testing, and automation to keep us ahead of the game.
• Develop artifacts using Python, Shell, Groovy, Docker, and Terraform to support the department's plays and deliver high-impact results.
• Stay sharp on service patterns like pub/sub and APIs, ensuring our systems are robust and ready to tackle any challenge.
• Monitor the entire tech stack and daily processes, stepping in like a reliable goalkeeper to resolve issues and maintain uninterrupted performance. Coordinate with the responsible team when needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive manuals, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), to ensure smooth communication with engineers and external stakeholders.
• Partner with security and DevOps teams to contribute to company-wide initiatives, ensuring a unified strategy and flawless execution.

• Proficiency. 2+ years of playing time in roles like Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Data Engineer-your foundation for a strong performance.
• Data Mastery. A proven track record in implementing data-centric plays, such as data warehouses, operational data stores, and data integration projects. You understand the importance of data in shaping a winning strategy.
• Skillset.

• Python Proficiency. A must-have skill for orchestrating the team's plays.
• Groovy/Java Knowledge. A solid assist to have in your toolkit.
• A Versatile Player. Experience with Linux, GIT, Source Version Control (SVC), CI/CD tools, and Networking. You're the kind of player who can adapt to any position on the field.
