We provide legal, financial and employee administration through TMF Group's teams in 120 offices.Discover the RoleThe Client Accountant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounting and tax clients in accordance with local legislation and internal regulations. This role requires delivering high-quality and timely services, ensuring compliance with TMF procedures and standards, and supporting junior colleagues in technical matters.Key Responsibilities

End-to-End ownership of assigned clients
Accounting entries
Assures compliance to accounting principles
Preparation of Tax return
Preparation of financial statements and ad hoc reports
Support and manage clients and internal requests in a timely manner.
Create transparency around financial and operational performance.
Ensure financial statement integrity, budgeting, and forecasting.
Maintain contact with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, and other involved parties to obtain required information for reporting purposes.
Ensure ongoing processes and deliverables provide high-quality accounting service to assigned portfolio of clients.

Key Requirements

Chartered Accountant (Qualified tax professional)
Fluent in English both written and spoken
Degree in Finance, or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience
At least 4 years' experience
Excellent knowledge of TAX and other corporate taxation matters
Excellent knowledge and understanding of international financial reporting standards
Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Malta (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements etc.)
