
NOC Engineer

- Proactive monitoring and support of the production and non-production environments.
- Detect, analyse and respond to systems and security incidents.
- Maintain and suggest improvements to the incident and problem processes.
- Acts as a focal point for outages until restoration, facilitating communication with stakeholders as necessary.
- Maintain, escalate and update NOC related tickets whilst making sure that new and updated existing knowledge base articles are documented.
- Deliver on KPI's set internally as well as adhere to SLA's with regard to service delivery to other departments.
- Automating processes to make our tasks more efficient.
- Certificate Management.
- Using ITIL Best Practice to handle service requests, incidents and change requests.
- Knowledge of networking essentials.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Experience in working with monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of automation tools.
- Experience working with cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of DNS & SSL Termination and domain management.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts.
