We are looking for an OLAP Data Warehouse Engineer. The role will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our on-premises data warehouse solutions, with a focus on ClickHouse and Superset. You will work closely with our data science and engineering teams to enable real-time data analysis and reporting, utilizing streaming technologies such as Kafka. Your expertise will drive the development of scalable, high-performance data architectures that support critical business functions.Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, scalable data warehouse solutions using ClickHouse.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Superset to meet business reporting needs.
Integrate streaming data technologies, such as Kafka, to facilitate real-time data ingestion and analysis.
Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of data warehouse systems.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Optimise data models and queries for performance and scalability.
Implement best practices for data security, backup, recovery, and archiving.
Provide technical guidance and support for on-premises data warehouse operations.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and analytics, and recommend improvements to our systems and processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience with ClickHouse and Superset.
Strong background in streaming technologies, especially Kafka.
Experience designing and running on-premises data warehouse solutions.
Proficiency in SQL and database optimization techniques.
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
