Manpower is seeking to recruit a Lab Assistant to join our client's team. The selected candidate will assist in the preparation, testing, and reporting of construction materials, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples and carry out prescribed tests on aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
- Record results accurately and prepare test reports and data sheets
- Report on the non-conformance of materials to the Quality Assurance Manager and assist in corrective actions
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration when required
- Ensure the laboratory area is kept safe, organized, and compliant with company safety policies
- Provide support to site supervisors and respond to client requirements in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager
- Strong communication skills in Maltese and English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure with minimal supervision
- Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
- Computer literacy and familiarity with standard applications
- Flexibility to work irregular hours when required
- Valid driving license
