This position involves the installation and repair of equipment both within the company premises and onsite at clients.The duties of this position include: • Conduct tests and assessments of industrial machinery and repairs • Utilise and store all equipment properly • Assemble and install industrial machinery. • Communicate timelines for repairs to those impacted • Respond quickly to service requests and troubleshoot • Install new equipment to infrastructure as needed • Log all services and report progress • Perform preventative maintenance on a regular scheduleProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHMALTESEISCED Level: Post-secondary non-tertiary education - Level (4)Competencies

Check functioning of equipment and conformity of hydraulic/pneumatic circuits Decide on technical repair solutions
Analyse technical problems and customer needs
Determine technical solutions for improvement of equipment/installations (quality, suitability, cycles, safety...)
Detect a malfunction in the installation and decide on technical solutions and terms of repair
Give technical assistance to production, quality, maintenance... Departments
Process components or replacement parts
Checking whether the appliance is functioning by doing trial runs and function tests and setting the parameters before returning it to the customer
Determine which repairs in the electrical installation or equipment are needed and trace malfunctioning parts
Make an estimate of the price and the term of repair
Instruct customers regarding use, maintenance and setting of parameters
Accept payment for delivery
Receive payments
