Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a commercially astute Lawyer to act as a trusted legal advisor to senior stakeholders, providing practical and strategic guidance across a wide range of legal, regulatory and compliance matters. The role will support the business in managing legal risk, ensuring legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions and enabling growth initiatives. There is a smaller component of responsibility for data protection related governance, but the primary emphasis is on core legal functions.Location: Hybrid - MostaResponsibilities:As a Lawyer, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Legal Advisory & Commercial SupportProvide expert legal advice to senior management on commercial, contractual, corporate and regulatory matters in multiple territoriesDraft, review, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial contracts including vendor, partner and client arrangementsSupport corporate governance activities and ensure regulatory compliance across business functionsAdvise on corporate transactions including expansions, partnerships, strategic initiatives and market entry projectsManage interactions with external legal counsel for disputes, litigation, regulatory investigations and cross-border mattersOversee legal aspects of corporate filings, compliance with company law and ongoing maintenance of governance recordsContribute to risk management by identifying legal exposures and proposing mitigation strategiesCompliance, Regulatory & Risk ManagementSupport compliance with applicable laws and regulations affecting the business operationsInterpret and provide guidance on regulatory developments and their implications for the organisationCollaborate with internal teams to ensure that legal and compliance considerations are embedded into business processesRequirements:Fully qualified lawyer with significant commercial legal experienceMinimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal environmentStrong commercial mindset and ability to provide pragmatic legal solutionsDemonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contractsExcellent stakeholder communication and relationship building skillsAbility to work independently and cross functionally with internal teamsStrong organisational aptitude with attention to detailFluency in English, with additional EU language an advantageExperience within regulated industries such as payments, fintech or technology is advantageousWhat's in it for you?Our client offers an exciting, challenging role in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
