A well-established investment banking firm is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. The selected candidate will be carrying out financial planning, analysing financial data, and preparing comprehensive reports.This is an office-based role with a salary up to €50K.Please note that for this role, we can only consider candidates who are based in Malta.Role & ResponsibilitiesSupport the internal team in reviewing financial statementsAssist in budget management and the development of performance tracking toolsSupport the development of financial models and provide insights to support decision-makingBuild and maintain financial models to value companies and assess dealsPerform company and asset valuations to support M&A, fundraising, and strategic decisionsPrepare pitch books, presentations, and client materials for business development purposesAnalyse financial statements, identify risks, and support the due diligence processConduct market and competitor research to support investment decision-makingEducation, Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field4+ years of experience in reviewing and preparing Financial Statements with a Malta based company - non-negotiableFluency in English both written and spokenPrevious experience in an investment-focused environment is a plusProficiency in Financial Planning and FinanceStrong analytical skills and able to accurately interpret dataGood understanding of Financial Reporting principlesKeen eye for detail and excellent problem solving skillsExperienced with financial modelling and relevant software toolsAbout the roleSalary up to €50K + monthly performance appraisalksOffice based in FlorianaOpportunities for professional developmentApply with your detailed CV in English, please.*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
