- Lead and motivate the restaurant team during shifts to deliver exceptional customer service and in-depth product knowledge.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, performing satisfaction checks and resolving any complaints professionally.
- Ensure all food and drinks are high-quality, well-presented, and served promptly and accurately.
- Manage staff scheduling, training (both new and existing employees), and performance management.
- Create an inclusive work environment and engage in succession planning to help team members achieve professional goals.
- Contribute to revenue targets by training the team on effective upselling and personalized recommendations.
- Handle inventory management, stock control, and purchasing in accordance with company procedures.
- Strictly enforce food handling, hygiene, and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and all service areas.
- Coordinate closely with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure effective communication.
- Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a diverse team
- Strong skills in managing internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written skills to connect with customers and share information clearly
- Ability to remain calm and focused while solving problems in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a smart appearance
- Previous experience managing staff within a restaurant environment is required
- Must possess a valid Food Handling Licence
