Manage network topologies and cabling.
Administration of firewalls and their configuration.
Administration of periodic firmware and software upgrades of network infrastructure.
Monitor network infrastructure performance.
Automate the process using scripting and/or infrastructure as a code where possible.
Write/Update/Review documentation and technical specifications related to infrastructure.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
Identify hardware, software and network problems and propose solutions.
Perform regular maintenance on hardware, network, and software components.
Communicate effectively with the ICT team.
Administration of reverse proxy and load balancer equipment services.
Occasional travel to various client's locations to support the ICT team

Additional non-mandatory tasks could be:

take part in designing and implementing solutions for replication & disaster recovery.
utilize configuration management frameworks.
implement infrastructure as a code.
operate and support network equipment.
implementation of software-defined networking.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 6 years of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of English C1 or higher Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (self-assessment).
Proven experience in network administration, systems engineering, or a similar technical role.
Proficiency in network infrastructure, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Strong knowledge of firewall administration, load balancing, and reverse proxies.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds).
Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) principles.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with ICT teams.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
