Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join our client's team.The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the organisation operates in full compliance with the Maltese regulatory framework and industry standards within the corporate and trust services sector. This position involves overseeing compliance activities, supporting regulated entities, and promoting a strong culture of ethics and integrity across the organisation.The Compliance Officer will be responsible for monitoring regulatory developments, implementing internal policies and procedures, and supporting departments in maintaining effective compliance practices. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating compliance risks. The ideal candidate will have experience within the corporate services or financial services sector and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements in Malta.Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Maltese laws and regulations related to corporate and trust services
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures
  • Monitor company activities, perform risk assessments, and prepare compliance reports
  • Act as a point of contact with regulatory authorities and support internal audits
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance and regulatory matters
Key Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of the Corporate and Trust services regulatory framework in Malta
  • Experience in Due Diligence, AML functions, and compliance practices
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet regulatory deadlines
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
