We are looking for an Accounting Senior to join our client's team. Your role will in time develop to the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards as well as the preparation and review of tax computations. The successful candidate will form part of the firm’s outsourcing team and will report to the Partner/s and/or the Outsourcing management team.You can expect to learn, get involved, be empowered, innovate and feel first-hand the valid contribution you are making to their clients’ operations.ABOUT OUR CLIENTOur client is one of the leading multi-disciplinary audit, accounting, tax, and advisory firms and is located in Birkirkara.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Carrying out bookkeeping and preparing periodic management accounts.

Preparation of VAT Returns and Recap Statements.

Preparation of ad-hoc reports.

Review of work done by Accounting Assistants, including VAT Returns and Management Accounts.

Providing guidance and feedback to Accounting Assistants.

Preparation of closing off workings for Audit.

Actively manage the client relationship.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Minimum of three years of work experience in an accounting role.

You have a very good working knowledge of MS Excel.

You are a team player, self-motivated and able to work independently.

You possess multi-tasking and analytical skills as well as an eye for detail.

You are able to deliver tasks effectively in a timely manner and are used to working to some very strict deadlines.

You possess excellent inter and intrapersonal skills.

You are able to manage tasks and people.

You are computer literate.

You are able to work under pressure.

EDUCATIONYou are a fully qualified professional in ACCA or ACA or Accountancy degree. Applicants in the final stages of qualifying may be considered.WORKING TIMEFlexibility in starting time, from 07:00 till 09:30, 40 hours per week with 60 minutes break.SALARY AND BENEFITS
