Our client, a leading corporate service provider is seeking to recruit an Accounts Executive / Team Lead to join their growing finance team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Completing management accounts
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Liaising with Auditors, Tax and VAT Departments as well as the MBR as required
  • Ensure that all tasks within the assigned portfolio of clients are completed in accordance with statutory requirements
  • Liaising with the tax administration team in relation to preparing tax computations, tax returns and tax refunds along with any other tax related matters
  • Liaising internally to obtain information and documentation to allow for the timely preparation of financial statements and statutory returns
  • Participating in client meetings in relation to own portfolio
  • Any other duties which may be required from time to time
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of local experience in client accounting
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a can do attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and preferably Sage 50
  • Possess the ability to work on own initiative and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent multi tasker with the ability to prioritize
Education and Experience
  • Partly qualified, possess a relevant Degree in Accountancy or in the last stages of ACCA
