- Assisting in the preparation and issuance of sales invoices, including retrieving inputs from internal systems and ensuring proper documentation.
- Posting purchase invoices and support the accounts payable process through timely reconciliations and payment preparation.
- Managing supplier and debtor communications, including issuing monthly statements and reconciling accounts.
- Processing and posting bank transactions, including charges, transfers, and cheques, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Preparing and maintaining creditor listings for payment runs.
- Assisting with travel-related disbursements.
- Maintaining both physical and electronic filing systems for finance-related documentation.
- Generating reports related to departmental expenses and assist with data collation for audit processes.
- Managing petty cash handling and related reconciliations.
- Supporting internal and external audit requests by providing required documents and information.
- Carrying out general administrative duties such as responding to finance-related queries and supporting other finance team members as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance support role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining financial integrity.
- Previous experience in a corporate or payments/financial services environment will be considered an asset.
