- Support financial accounting under US GAAP and IFRS 17 with focus on reinsurance and contract management.
- Liaise with business departments to obtain and track contracts.
- Capture, analyse and summarise key financial terms, including endorsements.
- Assess back-to-back assumptions for UCAs and quota share contracts, designing bespoke EUC where needed.
- Maintain reinsurance master databases for US GAAP and IFRS 17.
- Maintain XOL premium EUC to prepare accurate premium journals quarterly.
- Ensure proper accounting of XOL recoveries under US GAAP.
- Produce IFRS 17 paids for XOL premiums and recoveries.
- Prepare and check contract-level master data for IFRS 17.
- Support ad hoc finance projects.
- Maintain compliance with UK and international regulatory obligations.
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within financial services.
- Strong financial, analytical, and commercial skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Effective communicator and team player.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
