- Oversee the development, expansion, and strategic direction of the Tax Advisory line of business.
- Build and lead a team of tax professionals, ensuring continuous professional development and high-quality service delivery.
- Develop technical tax knowledge within the team and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including FATCA, CRS, DAC, ATAD, Transfer Pricing, Pillar 2, and other emerging frameworks.
- Provide advanced tax advisory services to a diverse client portfolio, including corporate clients, international groups, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide practical, commercially sound recommendations.
- Represent the organisation at conferences, seminars, and meetings to promote the firm’s tax expertise.
- Develop and implement tax-related processes, procedures, and advisory methodologies.
- Identify, pitch, and secure new business opportunities in line with the company’s growth objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to expand integrated service offerings.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and business collaborators.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and opportunities to support business development and innovation.
- Fully qualified accountant or tax professional with a minimum five years’ experience in taxation.
- Possession of a professional tax qualification is preferred; candidates without the qualification must demonstrate strong technical experience and be willing to obtain certification.
- Strong leadership capabilities with proven experience in building or managing a department or business line.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify business opportunities and drive growth.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and relevant business development tools (e.g., CRM systems).
