- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and trends. Analyze market data to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various methods, such as cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms and databases.
- Client Acquisition: Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients. Pitch product or services to prospective clients and convert leads into customers.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
- Proposal and Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients. Tailor offerings to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, pricing, and agreements to secure profitable deals for the company.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development efforts with the company's overall goals and strategies.
- Goal Achievement: Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals. Monitor and report on progress using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies. Use this knowledge to adapt and improve business development strategies.
- Strong understanding of ERP and CRM systems and enterprise technology solutions.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and business development strategies.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to conduct market research and analyze market trends.
- Understanding of contract structures, pricing models, and commercial terms.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Additional certifications in Sales, Business Development, or ERP/CRM systems will be advantageous.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Business Development or Key Account Management is a must
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within ERP, CRM, or enterprise software solutions.
- Experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
