Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer with a strong combination of technical, analytical, and programming skills. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in data warehousing, data modelling, ETL processes, advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Azure, and Power BI, along with proficiency in Python. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential to design and implement efficient and reliable data solutions.This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to develop their skills in data engineering and business intelligence. The primary purpose of the role is to support day-to-day data and analytics initiatives that enable the business to better understand and optimise its operations.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will apply your technical knowledge to support a range of ongoing data projects. This includes collecting and preparing data to answer business questions and contributing to the development of data models through to the production of Business Intelligence reports for different departments.You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of data warehouse structures and support ETL pipelines to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable data flows. The role involves working with multiple teams to understand data and reporting requirements, assisting in data integration from various sources, validating data quality, and supporting the optimisation and documentation of data processes within the data platform.About YouYou will have a people-oriented personality and enjoy working with teams across the business. You are highly organised, collaborative, and proactive, with strong attention to detail and a genuine motivation to learn and grow.Job Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
Proficiency in Python
Experience in database development (data modelling, SQL programming, MS SQL Analysis Services)
Comfortable developing BI cloud solutions (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Power BI) and working with ETL tools
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
