BettingJobs is partnering with a fast-growing start-up based in St. Julian's, Malta, as they search to find a Head of Casino Commercial to join their team on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will be required to work from their Malta office three days per week.Key Responsibilities:
  • Own game positioning strategy (Top Games, Trending, New, Recommended, GEO-specific)
  • Optimize ordering based on Performance and industry trends.
  • Coordinate with BI and Tech to create ranking AI game recommendation and performance scoring
  • Ensure high-risk or bonus-abusive games are properly treated and monitored
  • Align lobby structure with campaign mechanics (CRM & acquisition flows)
  • Act as main commercial point of contact for all game providers
  • Run regular performance reviews with vendors
  • Track provider contribution (GGR, Hold, Bonus Cost Exposure, Campaign Performance)
  • Negotiate exclusive promos, tournaments, network campaigns, custom deals, and temporary commercial improvements
  • Work closely with CRM to secure vendor-funded promotions
  • Validate promo cost vs expected uplift
  • Track ROI post-campaign and report performance
  • Monitor game performance by GEO, RTP shifts, bonus exposure, and provider concentration risk
  • Recommend vendor exposure caps, game restrictions, wagering exclusions, and alternative content strategies
  • Identify underperforming providers and propose action plans
  • Review commercial terms (rev share, minimums, caps)
  • Track fee structures, revenue share tiers, minimum commitments, and dedicated table costs
  • Prepare commercial negotiation summaries for Legal and executive approval
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in iGaming commercial / casino management
  • Strong understanding of slot mechanics, live casino economics, RTP models, and bonus abuse patterns
  • Experience negotiating with Tier 1 providers
  • Advanced Excel / BI literacy
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Ability to challenge vendors and internal teams when needed
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with aggregators (e.g., Hub88, EveryMatrix)
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Smartico, Optimove)
  • Exposure to risk/fraud impact on game strategy
  • Multi-GEO casino experience (LATAM / Africa / Asia)
