A Malta-based company specialising in corporate services, compliance, and financial management solutions is currently looking for a Client Accountant to join their team. The company focuses on supporting businesses with regulatory, tax, and administrative requirements both locally and internationally.This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €40K + annual performance bonus, depending on experience.Role & ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of clients across various industriesBuild and maintain strong relationships, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfactionEnsure accounting records for a portfolio of clients comply with accounting standardsComplete VAT returns, tax returns, and management accounts, and liaise with auditorsManage workflows and deadlinesLead projects and financial reporting tasksLiaise with authorities on behalf of clientsMentor and support junior team members by reviewing their work and maintaining communication and motivation in line with company valuesAssist with client onboarding and recommend process improvementsIdentify growth opportunitiesEducation, Skills and ExperienceACCA qualified or equivalent2+ years of experience in client-facing roles, ideally within a CSP environmentProficient in English (written and spoken); fluency in another language besides Maltese is a plusStrong knowledge of Maltese VAT and tax legislationAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamExtensive knowledge of IFRS or locally accepted accounting standardsHigh integrity and discretion when handling confidential informationExperience with Xero or other cloud-based accounting software is an assetAbout the RoleSalary of up to €40K, depending on experience, plus annual performance bonusHybrid working in Ta' Xbiex – 3 days on-site, 2 days WFHHealth insuranceCar fringe benefitCorporate discountsApply with your detailed CV.*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
