
Back Office Operational Officer - Payments

- Manage and resolve issues related to missing or failed customer transactions.
- Process customer withdrawals efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Liaise daily with internal technical teams to ensure effective handling of escalations and optimal service delivery.
- Collaborate with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to address and resolve payment-related queries.
- Monitor and reconcile PSP balances; request top-ups as needed.
- Process, debit, and credit customer funds in line with internal procedures.
- Identify and investigate any suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity, including anomalies in transaction behaviour or document authenticity.
- Escalate any suspected cases of Money Laundering to the AML team in line with regulatory and internal policies.
- Perform regular customer account monitoring to detect and mitigate fraud risks.
- Conduct KYC checks on customers, including the collection and verification of identification and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and process data to support back office operations and maintain accuracy across systems.
- Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as agreed from time to time.
- Prior experience in a similar back office, payments, fraud, or compliance-related role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle sensitive data confidentially.
- Familiarity with KYC, AML, and fraud prevention processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
