- Coordinate and develop the use of all resources under their control, liaise with other members of staff, paying attention to safety requirements and cleanliness.
- Ensure that all resourcing plans are designed to promote optimum cost effectiveness whilst maintaining standards of quality and safety.
- Accountable for financial and operational aspects of all activities under their control, as well as report and recommend better ways to monitor costs efficiently.
- Participate in developing the fundraising budget and make any necessary adjustments and/or suggestions for improvement.
- Plan, develop and execute fundraising campaigns to raise funds for the foundation. This includes identifying potential donors, developing fundraising strategies, and managing campaigns. Creating marketing materials:
- Designing and developing marketing materials including newsletters, brochures, social media content, website content, and other marketing materials to promote the foundation and its programs.
- Help coordinate volunteers required to support different fundraising activities and initiatives.
- Assist in all pre-event preparation, event day and post-mortem for any fundraising activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and sponsors to ensure ongoing support for the foundation.
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events including auctions, galas, and other fundraising events to raise funds for the foundation.
- Manage online fundraising campaigns and ensure that all online donation platforms are up-to-date and functioning properly.
- Analyse fundraising data and provide reports to the Brand & Fundraising Manager to inform fundraising strategies and goals.
- Record and report success of all activities.
- Help to identify new potential opportunities and ideas to promote fundraising initiatives in different areas and targeting different markets.
- Handling logistics of fundraising campaigns – Monitoring donations, sending receipts & thank you letters, maintaining database, handling enquiries, issuing KPI.
- Monitoring of tin collection process and organizing schedule of collection with Fundraising Assistant, keeping up to date database and key contact person for retailers.
- Liaise with Brand & Fundraising Manager to prepare post event/ campaign reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the Brand & Fundraising Manager towards promoting and overseeing Friends of Inspire donation and tins and oversee donations from corporate companies and general public.
- A recognized qualification of a minimum MQF level 4 in Marketing or Fundraising.
- High proficiency in English language (C1 level both spoken and written) & Maltese language.
- Previous experience in event management/fundraising activities is an advantage.
- Preference is given to candidates knowledgeable in using Canva / Adobe illustrator / Adobe InDesign / Figma will be considered as an asset.
