Job DescriptionThe Malta Trust Foundation is a non-governmental organisation committed to supporting children, young people, and communities facing significant challenges or at risk of social exclusion. The Centre for Music & the Arts provides arts opportunities including Music Therapy, Adapted Music Learning, and arts-based programmes. They are seeking a passionate and organised Administrator to join their team at The Malta Trust Foundation.Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Providing administrative support, managing correspondence, scheduling, and problem-solving operational issues.
  • Communication: Acting as first point of contact, addressing queries, and supporting client communications.
  • Programme Coordination: Coordinating in-house and outreach programmes.
  • Data Management: Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring data protection compliance.
  • Financial Administration: Assisting with budget tracking, invoicing and filing financial documents.
  • Event Coordination: Supporting planning of performances, showcases, exhibitions and family activities.
  • Reporting & Health and Safety: Supporting report preparation and maintaining a safe environment.
Ideal Candidate ProfileQualifications:
  • A qualification in Management or a related area at MQF Level 5 or higher.
Experience:
  • Minimum two years' administration experience.
  • Experience in disability services or accounts considered an asset.
  • Experience in arts-related fields, particularly music, considered advantageous.
Key Competencies:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
  • IT proficiency and familiarity with basic media editing.
  • Empathy and sensitivity towards client needs.
  • Teamwork, time management, and reliability.
  • Fluency in Maltese and English; other languages desirable.
