An established local CSP is looking for a Sr Tax Accountant to join their team.You will form part of a dynamic team handling a predominantly international clientele operating across a wide range of industries, as well as the company's private clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and take on a new professional challenge.This is an office-based role offering a salary of up to €50K, depending on experience.Role & ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with the Department's Tax Supervisors on technical aspects of the team's workDrafting and reviewing procedures for the tax departmentManage and supervise the work carried out by junior team membersHandle complex income tax and VAT matters across different business sectorsAttend client meetingsEducation, Skills & ExperienceFully qualified accountantProfessional Certificate in Taxation (Candidates without this qualification should have sufficient relevant experience and be willing to undertake the certification if required)Minimum of 2 years' experience in taxation or a similar role within the sectorFluency in English, both written and spokenProficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS OutlookPrevious experience in mentoring or guiding junior team membersDelegation skills with the ability to provide constructive feedbackHighly organised with exceptional attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbout the RoleSalary up to €50K, depending on experienceOffice-based in Marsa, MaltaStart date: ASAPOn-the-job trainingOpportunities for career growth and developmentDue to urgency of the role, only candidates currently based in Malta will be considered.Apply with your detailed CV in English.*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
