Avis Budget Malta is seeking a responsible, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our Rental Operations team. Based primarily at our Gozo station, the role may also involve assignments in Malta. Manual car driving licence is mandatory.Duties and Responsibilities: Greet customers and assess their needs to recommend the most suitable rental options Process rental agreements and payments; provide clear information on rates, policies, and available vehicles Upsell additional products and services; explain final charges and obtain signatures on rental agreements Handle customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally Move and park vehicles in designated areas, including off-site delivery and collection when required Wash and clean rental vehicles inside and out as necessary, ensuring they are fully prepared for the next customer Conduct thorough vehicle inspections upon return; document any damages using the proper tools and determine applicable charges Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation Perform daily back-office tasks such as managing emails and preparing station reports Assist customers with directions and general travel information Required Skills and Experience: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Fluency in spoken and written English Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment Friendly, positive, and proactive attitude Team player who can also work independently Self-motivated and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity, especially when working unsupervised Previous experience in sales or customer service, especially in car rental or hospitality, is considered an asset We look forward to welcoming a dedicated person to our team who shares our commitment to excellent service and operational efficiency.   • Familiarise customer with and lead them to the right person (technician, sales assistant, head of customer service...)
  • Make nature of the call known (order, sales, information, advertising, assistance...)
  • Present solutions to customer complaints or pass file to the litigation/logistics.... department
  • Collect and deal with complaints of users, clients, occupants, ...
  • Deal with customer complaints (grant discounts, clarify regulations...)
  • Inform customer about product characteristics; advise customer on his/her choice
  • Fill in digital follow-up documents
  • Register activities data (log, register for incidents or complaints...)
  • Handle: incoming calls (consumer service, take orders, provide assistance to customers...)
  • Welcome customer. Determine his/her wishes and advise on products and services
  • Advise and inform customers about products. Sell products
  • Check state of vehicle and clean it
  • Drive a private vehicle to a specific delivery or collect point (transportation between sites, pick up service...)
