Job DescriptionOur client, a well-established organisation, is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk on a full-time basis to join their Accounts team. Reporting directly to the Head of Accounts, the chosen candidate will assist in all facets of accounting, including day-to-day activities and the preparation of management accounts.Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter and maintain financial records in accounting systems.
  • Process local and foreign supplier invoices and prepare payments.
  • Handle creditor reconciliation statements.
  • Manage bank deposits and prepare reconciliation statements.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
  • Assist in preparing financial documentation for audits.
  • Manage petty cash transactions accurately.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum MQF Level 4 Qualification in Accounting.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (knowledge of Business Central considered an asset).
  • Good command of MS Office with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • A team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
