Prestige Travel Marketing Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis at the Hotel Calypso in Marsalforn, Gozo.Scope, Purpose and Objective:The maintenance supervisor is responsible for the maintenance, repair and general upkeep of all public and residential areas of the hotel.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide a daily maintenance program to ensure the most economical and safe condition of the property
  • Inspect the property and all common areas to detect maintenance problems that require attention
  • Coordinate and complete maintenance requests
  • Change or clean all air-conditioning filters quarterly or as deemed necessary
  • Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and legionella preventative maintenance
  • Respond to after-hours requests providing evening, weekends and holiday emergency service
  • Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant rooms to ensure proper operating conditions and appearance upon arrivals
  • Maintain with the budgetary limits, an inventory of parts to make necessary repairs
  • Attend operation meetings as scheduled
  • Supervise, coach and lead the maintenance on duty staff
  • Prioritize Maintenance service requests to ensure guest convenience, satisfaction and safety.
