IntroductionAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Compliance to join our Leadership Team. In this senior role, you will work closely with all the company’s departments to ensure that we meet all our licensing and compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions.This is a Key Function Role and a vital position within our Senior Leadership Team.ResponsibilitiesYou will act as a key advisor to the leaders by providing insight on mitigating legal and regulatory risks and that legal considerations are embedded in strategic decision making.Furthermore, we are looking for a motivated person who will assist with the execution of the following duties and responsibilities:- Lead and manage the compliance team on cross-functional projects and matters related to internal policies, ensuring they align with local and international standards.- Draft and maintain policies and procedures in line with legal and regulatory obligations;- Conduct internal reviews and risk assessments;- Design and execute training on compliance matters to team members;- Submission of legal and regulatory returns;- Prepare and participate in all the company’s system audits, compliance audits etc..- Investigate potential compliance breaches and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to take appropriate remedial action.- Drive and manage projects across departments within the company;Qualifications, Skills and Experience:The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has gained work experience in the Igaming industry and has held Compliance related roles. Candidates who possess a Legal Qualification and /or certification in Compliance (e.g. ICA etc..) will be highly regarded. Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement together with sound understanding of local, UK and/or EU regulation and directives.
