- Assessing shareholding structures, business plans, financial projections and governance proposals in relation to entities licensed in terms of the Investment Services Act;
- Assessing the suitability of members of the Board of Directors and of Key Function Holders;
- Drafting memoranda to be presented to the relevant decision-making bodies within the MFSA;
- Communicating effectively and persuasively at the level required to establish effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; and
- Carrying out such other tasks as may be delegated by the Head, Deputy Head and/or Senior Manager.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Head and/or as may be required by the MFSA from time to time based on the exigencies of the Authority.
- Have an interest in financial services;
- Self-driven and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
- Ability to prioritise and deliver quality work under pressure;
- Attention to detail and strive for quality and accuracy of reports raised;
- Excellent verbal and communication skills;
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships, including internally within the Authority as well as with external stakeholders; and
- Sound analytical skills.
