Compliance Officer & MLRO

- Act as the appointed Compliance Officer and/or MLRO for a wide portfolio of clients, across a wide range of different regulated sectors (i.e. EMIs, PSPs and CASPs)
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the clients regulatory and AML/CFT compliance frameworks
- Make sure that clients are in line with the MFSA and FIAU's requirements
- Conduct risk assessments, reviews, audits, and gap analyses across client operations
- Provide strategic compliance advice and support on an ongoing basis as well as during regulatory inspections
- Deliver staff training, prepare reports for Boards and regulators, and assist with regulatory filings
- Must come from a solid regulatory compliance and AML/CFT background
- Candidates from a FI, EMI, or VASP/CASP background will have an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and related EU regulations
- Currently PQ'd or have been PQ'd by the MFSA in the past would be an asset
- Previous experience as an MLRO or deputy MLRO would be considered beneficial
- Familiarity with supervisory expectations and licensing frameworks
- Recognised professional certifications will be an asset
- Up to €75K starting salary
