Our client is a well-established clothing store in Birkirkara, offering stylish apparel for ladies and children. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience.Role Overview:They are currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Assistant Manager fluent in Maltese to support the day-to-day operations of the store and assist the Store Manager in driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will lead by example on the shop floor, motivate the team, and ensure excellent service standards are consistently delivered. The role is available on a full-time basis.Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve store targets.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, scheduling, and staff supervision.
Train, onboard, and coach new team members.
Advise customers on products, styling, and promotions.
Ensure high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation, and cleanliness.
Oversee stock management, replenishment, and inventory checks.
Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving KPIs.

Requirements:

Fluent in Maltese; English is a plus.
Previous experience in a retail supervisory or senior sales role is preferred.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Passion for fashion and current trends.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Organised, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
Flexible, reliable, and a team player.
