Commerg Ltd is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee / Junior Renewable Energy Broker. This role offers a structured training programme designed to develop the skills required to become a fully qualified broker.During the training period (6–12 months), you will work closely with the Renewables Desk Manager, gaining hands-on experience in environmental markets, brokering, and deal structuring. Successful completion of the programme provides a pathway to a position on the Trading Floor, specialising in Renewable Energy, Biogas, Hydrogen, or Carbon markets.About CommergCommerg is a brokerage firm operating within the European Environmental Markets. We value curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration, and we are committed to delivering results for our clients.Key Responsibilities
Monitor market order flow and communication
Track developments in European and global renewable energy regulations
Prepare post-deal documentation for clients and internal teams
Develop core brokering skills through on-the-job training
Produce pricing and market reports
Maintaining the existing customer portfolio
Becoming the main information source for your customer portfolio
Matching buyers with sellers and propose (new) deal structures
Closing deals!
Coordinate with Middle and Back-Offices
Building your own customer portfolio
Requirements
0–5 years of commercial experience
Fluency in English and Swedish
Strong commercial drive and a proactive attitude
Commercial mindset with a proactive approach
Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Outgoing and team-oriented personality
