Our client is seeking to recruit an Audit Associate to join the team. This role provides hands-on exposure primarily in statutory audits, while also giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience in accounting and tax services, allowing you to develop into a well-rounded professional.Duties include:

Performing audit testing and compiling supporting working papers
Assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with GAPSME/IFR
Preparation of management account
Preparation and filing of VAT and income tax returns for self-employedindividuals and companies

Requirements

ACCA or Master's in Accountancy (partly qualified or in progress)
Previous experience within an audit/CSP firm or a similar accountancy role will be considered as an asset.
Fluency in Maltese and English
