We are seeking a highly-skilled and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead one of Malta’s most prestigious dining establishments, celebrated for its modern cuisine, exceptional use of the finest ingredients, and unwavering commitment to impeccable service. The Restaurant Manager will oversee all daily operations, ensuring that service excellence, culinary quality, and profitability targets are consistently achieved.We are looking for an enthusiastic and charismatic individual who can inspire and motivate their team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. The Manager will lead by example, actively supporting staff where needed to ensure a seamless, memorable experience for every guest.Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Lead the restaurant’s daily operations, maintaining impeccable food and beverage standards, service efficiency, and staffing excellence.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate the team through charismatic leadership and continuous development, ensuring high engagement, performance, and collaboration.
- Guest Experience: Engage directly with guests, manage feedback, and create a welcoming, high-class environment that encourages repeat visits and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Oversee revenue, costs, and staffing levels, ensuring that financial targets are met or exceeded, while managing inventory and POS systems efficiently.
- Compliance and Safety: Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene, including HACCP compliance, professional appearance, and risk management protocols.
- Staff Development: Conduct regular briefings and meetings, delegate tasks to maximise team strengths, and identify training needs to continually elevate service standards.
- Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, making recommendations to enhance restaurant operations, marketing initiatives, and overall guest experience.
- Education: Hospitality Management Degree or Diploma, and Food Safety & Hygiene Certifications are required.
- Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment in a managerial role. Experience in high-end hospitality is highly advantageous.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required. Knowledge of Maltese is an advantage.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests, delivering clear instructions and feedback.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong charisma and leadership presence, capable of motivating and inspiring a high-performing team.
- Technical Skills: Competent in POS systems, inventory control, and financial management within a hospitality context.
- Organisation: Exceptional ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Self-Motivated: Highly driven, proactive, and committed to achieving operational and financial goals.
