Following departmental policies and procedures the cleaner will do cleaning duties. Experience will be considered an asset.Cleaning corridors and other public areas Cleaning offices, restaurants and halls as applicable Sweeping carpets Emptying ashtrays and urns Polishing furniture and fixtures Vacuuming and polishing elevators Keeping the entrances free from trash Cleaning rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and shampoo machine Washing walls and ceilings as needed Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing floors Dusting and polishing metal works Collecting solid linen supplies in floor linen closets Maintaining housekeeping trolleys and cleaning materials Removing trash collected Attending daily briefings for functions and events Performing daily assigned tasks in toilets, lifts, back areas and terraces amongst others Cleaning and maintaining all equipment daily Following up a special cleaning schedule given by the housekeeping control desk Reporting maintenance to supervisor/housekeeping desk immediately Complying with Lost and found policies Assisting guests in public areas when required Maintaining inventory in the housekeeping closets Posting caution signs as and when required.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHCompetencies

Air the rooms
Dust & clean floors, carpets, furniture and objects. Ventilate rooms
Dust, sort out waste and empty dustbins
Maintain and store cleaning materials. Check stock of products
Inform client on damage to furniture and appliances and if possible make repairs
