On behalf of our client - a leading B2B consulting firm in Forex CFD and prop-trading, we are seeking a seasoned financial professional to manage and oversee our client's entire financial operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be pivotal in ensuring financial control, strategic cash management, and accurate accounting, allowing leadership to focus on broader company growth.Open for remote/hybrid arrangement - MaltaResponsibilities:Oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and key performance metrics for senior leadership.Manage cash flow planning and liquidity, supporting both operational stability and future growth initiatives.Lead and develop the accounting and finance team, ensuring adherence to internal controls, corporate policies, and external regulatory requirements.Design, implement, and continuously improve financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets and maintain reporting integrity.Provide strategic financial guidance to leadership on expansion plans, investments, and new business initiatives.Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance and reporting accuracy.Act as a strategic finance partner to the CEO, delivering data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.Requirements:Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (e.g., Financial Controller, Head of Finance, Senior Accountant, or equivalent).Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements.Experience managing complex financial structures, ideally within multi-entity or multi-brand organisations.Background in financial services, trading, fintech, or related sectors (exposure to Forex/CFD, digital assets, or similar industries would be considered a strong advantage).Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience building and managing high-performing finance teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are preferred.What's in it for you?Our client offers an exciting, challenging role in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
