Job DescriptionCompany Introduction Our client specializes in property development and investment.Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements;
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, offering insightful analysis of financial performance;
  • Lead the budgeting process, aligning it with organisational objectives, and monitor actual financial results against budgets and forecasts;
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets and guarantee accurate financial reporting;
  • Coordinate external audit processes, ensure adherence to financial regulations, contribute to internal audits, and act on audit recommendations;
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and the formulation of long-term financial plans;
  • Act as the primary liaison for investors and analysts, delivering timely and accurate updates on the company's financial health and strategic direction;
  • Participate in annual general meetings to present the company's financial results and outline future prospects;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, institutional investors, lenders, and financial analysts, preparing relevant reports and communications;
  • Support Board committees and internal operational groups, such as the ESG Committee and Project Monitoring teams, by providing financial and corporate relations expertise;
  • Assist in enforcing the company's risk management and corporate governance frameworks, ensuring policies and controls are effective, supporting internal audits, and implementing related finance and governance recommendations.
Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree (MQF Level 6) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an ACCA qualification;
  • A Master's degree (MQF Level 7) in a relevant field is considered an asset;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a mid to senior-level finance role;
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial regulations, and risk management practices;
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyse financial statements;
  • Proficient in using and managing accounting software systems.
Personal Skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
