The Telecom Installer is responsible for performing the installation of various telecom systems, including fibre optic and copper cabling, wireless networks, and related equipment.  

Key responsibilities:

Perform the installation of telecom systems, including and not limited to fibre optic and copper cabling, wireless networks, and related equipment, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Conduct regular inspections and tests of systems to ensure that they are functioning correctly and meeting performance requirements.

Provide regular updates and progress reports to the Installation Coordinator and /or Lead Installer.

Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to ensure that systems are functioning correctly.

Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations, and company policies.

May also be required to assist works in other Divisions in the company with work requiring large teams.

Communicate with clients and other installation professionals, including supervisors and contractors to ensure seamless coordination during works.

Required skills and abilities:

Be in possession of a Maltese driving licence.

Experience with telecom installation and repair.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and work drawings.

Ability to test installed networks (both fibre and copper) and assist in the compilation of reports.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and installation techniques. 

Problem-solving skills to assist in troubleshooting issues.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work well under pressure.

The employment contract is for one year, with potential renewal or revision to indefinite contract.
