We are seeking to recruit a Delivery Driver with ‘C’ and ‘C1’ license (Maltese or EU license only) for Valhmor Borg Import / Export Ltd.The Delivery Driver is responsible for the following areas of responsibilities in agreement with the superior: Drives trucks/ vans in an orderly manner to deliver items such as food supplies; Loads / Unloads, prepare and inspect trucks / vans in a systematic and organized fashion before and after starting the route plan; Collects payments upon delivery from external customers and/or gets the invoice signed according to the client’s account status; Listens and attempts to resolve internal and / or external customers’ complaints or queries regarding products or services; Follows attentively any written and/or verbal instructions from his/her direct superior; Be able to read and follow a geographical map; Verifies the contents of inventory loads against the provided invoices; Plan, organize and follow a systematic route plan; Has a strong sense of time management in order to complete all scheduled deliveries by the end of the business day; Ensures safety procedures are adhered to.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHMALTESEISCED Level: Lower secondary education - Level (2)Competencies

Set up route according to delivery requirements. Check documents (timetables, order form...)
Perform emergency measures in case of accident. Notify services concerned
Load parcels, envelopes, prepared dishes on or in the vehicle
Deliver or collect parcels according to request
Execute basic maintenance. Clean vehicle
Receive payments
Arrange delivery/collection of envelope/parcel together with customer (sign off, delivery note, reserve...)
Receive and prepare goods to be delivered (collection, packing...)
Deliver orders
Check products on delivery (quality, quantity, state). Monitor storage (cooling chamber, freezer...)
Prepare vehicles before delivery/first use (clean inside and outside, check and fill fluid reservoirs...)
Prepare goods. Load goods as per delivery route
