- Deliver high-quality accounting services and manage client communications effectively and promptly.
- Supervise and coach junior accountants, reviewing deliverables and promoting continuous development.
- Plan and manage your portfolios workload, prioritising tasks and meeting internal and external deadlines.
- Liaise with auditors and prepare accountancy files for audit engagements.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts in line with relevant accounting standards.
- Present financial reports and provide insights to clients.
- Handle VAT Return and Recap Declaration submissions on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams and report updates to management, contributing to strong team performance and profitability.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar client-facing accounting role in Malta.
- Solid foundation in local VAT compliance.
- Working knowledge of payroll processes is considered a strong asset.
